"If we are the body, why aren't His arms reaching, why aren't His hands healing, why aren't His words teaching...."                                         - Casting Crowns

John Ortberg wrote, "As Christians we're supposed to be different from people in the world by being more loving and more gentle, and everybody knows that we're not.  So don't we have to do something to show we're different?  In other words, if we can't be holy, shouldn't we at least be weird?"

Sometimes this is the way we see our place in the Christ Community.  Let's do things to show we're really different because it's too difficult to actually be different in our hearts.

Please - don't be afraid to say you are a "Christian", but be a Jesus-like one. And be out in the world. He sent us there. Salt and light are meant to be experienced and seen. Please, we cannot let the abnormal, sad, insensitive, self-righteous Christians represent the rest of us to a world that needs Jesus. Please...  (from Dan Kimball) http://dankimball.typepad.com

Real Christianity is loving others as Christ loved.
There is no room for prejudice, bigotry, or intolerance.
